About Us
Timber Rose Ranch is located just outside of Brookneal, Virginia, and about 30 miles southeast of Lynchburg.  Situated on 38.44 acres, it features an eight stall barn (with 12 x 12 stalls), large paddocks for turnout, a new 8-10 acre pasture that we are currently working on, 60 foot round pen, outdoor riding ring with lighting (for riding after sunset - absolutely priceless on those hot Summer days!!!), and lots of trails for riding.

We ride both English and Western here at the ranch, and do a wide variety of things with our horses, ranging from basic Dressage to barrel racing and jumping.  We have five horses in our herd at the present time, mostly Arabians and Arabian crosses, all at various stages of training.  We have gone on hunter paces, participated in a mounted drill team, are frequently seen on trail, and have attended fun shows and speed events.

Timber Rose Ranch has recently begun accepting outside horses for ground training and starting under saddle.  After spending a great deal of time fixing the problems caused by other trainers who, to put it bluntly, don't have a clue, we have come to appreciate the value and importance of investing time and patience into a young horse.   It is our hope that we can save others from having to deal with the chaos of badly trained (and often mistreated) horses.  We treat others' horses as we would our own, with plenty of patience and understanding, and lots of love.
